Firefox users may be experiencing problems with the Adobe Flash Add-on. Mozilla who provides Firefox has found vunerabilities in Adobe Flash which could lead to website hacking, and this has necessitated Mozilla to block the automatic use of the Adobe Flash program when browsing the internet with Firefox.

Your Firefox browser may now present a warning notice when a page tries to activate the Flash program, and leave it to you to decide whether to 'risk it'.

A photo and file uploader we use on various features of the website uses Flash to operate it, and the non-activation of Flash stops it appearing or working. Luckily we also offer an alternative non-Flash uploader for the same purpose and this is working OK, so there is no need to activate Flash if the warning appears and you do not wish to activate it.
