Reiki Outreach International was founded in 1990 by Mary McFadyen, one of the 22 Reiki Masters who were initiated by Mrs. Hawayo Takata.

 

There is a blueprint in the ether of a great Reiki movement spread all over the world acting as one unit to bring peace, harmony and love to the planet. Reiki Outreach International is an organisation which is based on the vision of thousands of Reiki practitioners sending Reiki together to turbulent and critical situations which affect us all adversely.

 

The vision of Reiki Outreach International is to direct the healing energy of Reiki in a specific healing transmission from thousands of practitioners every day towards famine, drought, flood, plagues, mass illness, wars, political turmoil, and the suffering of all kind on the planet. The purpose of Reiki Outreach International is to create the daily communication and networking which will make it possible for many people around the world to work in unison towards a single goal. We have all seen the incredible healing power of Reiki on individuals; Reiki Outreach International exists to facilitate the same healing on a societal and planetary level.

Much support is needed to establish the R.O.I. networking community. No one individual or group is paramount; the effort and cooperation of many is required to bring this blueprint into reality. The unqualified support of Mrs. Takata, Dr. Usui and Dr. Hayashi is already evident and indeed, it seems to be their energy which is manifesting through our co-operative efforts. It is time now for the united and universal application of this wonderful energy we call Reiki.

 

Reiki Outreach International is founded upon the ideal of selfless service. It is open to all Reiki practitioners of any degree, background or lineage. All Reiki practitioners are therefore invited to participate in transmitting our individual Reiki energy as often as possible as part of a larger group devoted to planetary service. Participants need only look at the Transmission Instructions then go to the situations page to send Reiki as often as possible to designated events and situations around the world. The effect of this unified Reiki field must profoundly affect the enfoldment and outcome of event in a positive way. Reiki Outreach International has always relied on the generosity of donations from its participants. These donations are gratefully received and are vital to the continuance and ongoing development of our organisation.
