The Reiki Council |
The Reiki Council is the lead advisory body for Reiki Practitioners in the UK. Through its member associations they represent the views of people giving Reiki to the public across the four countries of the UK. They are a non profit-making body that sets standards and guidelines and provides information and advice.
The Reiki Council aims to offer a platform for all styles of Usui Reiki and it's guidelines are non style-specific. They uphold the freedom to teach and practise individual styles of Reiki and to operate in the spirit of Reiki and according to Reiki principles. The Reiki Association was a founding member of the Reiki Regulatory Working Group (RRWG) formed in 2002, later established as the Reiki Council in 2008. Aims and objectives
The Reiki Council has a lay chair, a secretary and a treasurer in addition to representatives of its member organisations.
