Teaching takes place in small groups of no more than 4 to ensure that individual needs are met. Manuals are included for all my courses so there is no need to worry about taking notes during the days allowing you to focus on learning.  

THE TEACHING OF REIKI ENERGY HEALING

Reiki is an ancient healing used thousands of years ago in Tibet, China and India. Rediscovered over a hundred years ago by Dr Usui, it is a growing and more widely accepted healing modality. It reinforces the body’s natural ability to harmonise itself and can support and enhance other forms of treatment. Modern living drains our reserves and Reiki can help to gently support and strengthen the body and mind during periods of stress and trauma. It works holistically on the whole person to bring about a sense of deep relaxation and wellbeing. 

Reiki is taught in four stages or levels: First Degree (Level 1) focusing on self treatment; Second Degree (Level 2) focusing on using the Reiki symbols and treatment of others; Second Degree Practitioner – a mini top-up for those who wish to become practitioners; Third Degree (Level 3) is for those who wish to deepen their awareness of Reiki and…Master Teaching Degree is the final step – although you never stop learning with Reiki!

REIKI FIRST DEGREE TRAINING COURSE

First Degree Reiki (Level 1) can be learnt over this one weekend and is complete in itself. The focus is on how to develop your own body/mind connection, to discover who you really are, to understand about energy and to treat yourself and others (including animals). Ongoing support is given.

No previous experience is necessary.

What You’ll Learn:

The Reiki attunement process is the core element of a Usui Reiki Level 1 course. The attunement process opens your energy centres, also known as chakras, and increases the vibrational rate of your energy body. During this Level 1 Reiki course you will receive 4 attunements over the 2 days.

What is Reiki; History of Reiki; Principles of Reiki; How Reiki heals; Grounding exercise; Guidelines for self Reiki treatment; Anatomy and Physiology; Disconnection; Other uses for Reiki; The Auras and Chakras; Guidelines for treating others; Practical “hands on” sessions

REIKI SECOND DEGREE TRAINING COURSE

Second Degree Reiki (Level 2) furthers your knowledge and experience of Reiki energy and gives you additional tools and techniques to enhance your treatment, especially of others. Achieving this level allows you to become a practitioner as we continue the journey of self discovery and personal development. Following the 2 day course ongoing support is given for you as newly qualified practitioners.

Reiki First Degree (Level 1) is required for you to attend this course.

What You’ll Learn:

The weekend consists of a series of sessions aimed at increasing your knowledge of Reiki and gives you new tools to work with. Okuden – the Japanese name for Level 2, will give you deeper knowledge of Reiki.

During this weekend you will receive 2 attunements, 1 each day.

OTHER SESSIONS INCLUDE:-

To consolidate your feelings with regard to Reiki 1; To learn the Reiki 2 symbols, their names and how to draw them; How to use the symbols; Additional ways to protect your energy through Hatsurei–ho and other traditional Japanese Reiki techniques; To learn how Reiki can lead to a greater understanding of your own spirituality; How to “treat” specific medical conditions or ailments using Reiki; Distant healing; To learn more of the mind/body connection; How to become a professional practitioner (if you choose to do this); Practical “hands on” sessions
