Description:

I am offering in person hands on treatments in Norwich and/or distance treatments via Zoom and WhatsApp.

My Reiki journey started while on a retreat in Spain and it's hard to imagine life without it now! I returned to be initiated that summer and then a year later met Debs Hoy, in Norwich, who became my Reiki Master and reviewed Reiki One with me in 2013 and then initiated me for Reiki Two in 2014. I became a Reiki Association Verified Member and CNHC registered public practitioner in 2017.

Along with practising Reiki, I am a qualified homeopath from the College of Practical Homeopathy (CPH) and work as a Natural Health Practitioner in Norwich and online. I treat patients using homeopathy, Bach Flower Remedies, supplements and dietary advice. I recently became a tutor for CPH, which has been an exciting opportunity to support student learning and draw from my own experiences as both a homeopath and a high school/sixth form teacher.

I trained as a Soul Midwife in 2017 which is a course designed to help support patients, and their loved ones, through the dying process. This came about after supporting my own loved one through the final stages of his life and seeing how well he responded to Reiki for pain relief and comfort. A humbling and powerful turning point in my Reiki learning which then also led me to volunteer Reiki with a charity in Wymondham called Star Throwers which supports patients and carers living with cancer. During the lockdown we have experimented with remote Reiki Zoom treatments to great effect which has deepened my practice further and led to training as a Reiki Master with Margaret Rose.

Wherever possible, I like to get involved in Reiki work and events. For example, I had the pleasure of working again with Debs Hoy via the Reiki Association Touch magazine for a year as an assistant editor and have been delighted to have some of my own articles published. And when it's been possible, I've been involved in public events offering Reiki tasters in the Norwich and Wymondham areas and look forward to more in the future.

Reiki has taught me to trust and work from the heart. It constantly surprises me, has helped me feel connected and made life feel all the richer for its presence! Being able to share any part of that with others is so rewarding and mutually beneficial.
